Abstract

International students represent an important and growing segment of the population that academic libraries serve. However, little research has been done to discover how to best serve the needs of international music students in particular. This study uses a series of semi-structured interviews to determine the needs and preferences of international music students, especially as they conduct research using the library. The resultsĀ  show how music department librarians, faculty, and administrators can better serve international students in an ever-increasingly global educational environment.
