Capital Chapter

Welcome

The Capital Chapter of the American Musicological Society encompasses the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and the eastern part of West Virginia. Our members include scholars affiliated with area schools, universities, government agencies, and ensembles, as well as independent researchers. Be sure to join us at our next meeting.

ELECTION

It's that time of year again to elect new officers! To vote, please do one of two things:

EITHER

1) Send an email to ctgibson@umd.edu that includes the four names for which you're voting. It is not necessary to send back the ballot; simply type the four names into your email. Please also include your name in the email, especially if it's not clear from your email address. If you do not receive an email confirmation from Christina within 48 hours, please resend your ballot.

OR

2) Print out the ballot, fill it out, and send it to Christina Taylor Gibson at the address provided on the ballot.


The polls are open now and will close on THURSDAY 10 APRIL. Members will also have the opportunity to vote at the Spring Meeting on April 12.

Please remember that you must pay your 2008 dues in order for your vote to count.
