Information for Institutional Subscribers and Agencies
To subscribe, Follow this link. Each calendar year subscription includes three issues of JAMS, plus two issues of the AMS Newsletter and the AMS Directory.
Publication schedule:
The Journal of the American Musicological Society (ISSN 0003-0139) is published three times a year: Spring, Summer, and Fall. For up-to-the-minute journal publication-schedule information, follow this link.
The AMS Newsletter (ISSN 0402-012X) is published twice a year: February and August. The February Newsletter mailing also includes a copy of the annual AMS Directory (ISSN 1099-6796).

Please note carefully the different claim instructions for our publications as follows:
Journal claims only: Send to: Journals Division You may also use the Web form at 510 643 7154 Monday through Friday; Be sure to include your customer number (top left on your label, above the name). Domestic claims for non-receipt of issues must be
made within 90 days of the month of publication; overseas claims must
be made within 180 days. |
