AMS Newsletter

Back issues of the AMS Newsletter (from 1971-present)

The AMS Newsletter is published semiannually in February and August.  The February Newsletter is mailed with the new Directory and Ballot each year. The August Newsletter is mailed with the Annual Meeting information and registration form each year. Please allow three weeks for delivery in North America and six weeks for overseas.

If you did not receive an issue: please send us a note. See the mailing schedule and policy on issue replacement for more information.

Items for inclusion in the Newsletter should be sent to Kristen Lavoie at the AMS office. Please note that we must receive materials by 1 December (for the February issue) and 1 June (for the August issue). The AMS attempts to meet requests for inclusion of items in the Newsletter, but space limitations occasionally require editing and/or limiting the item. When possible, please include an internet URL with your item which readers may use to obtain further information.

Submission deadlines: 1 December and 1 June.
